The Airport Fekau
When Covid-19 caused lockdown in March 2020, there were a lot of changes that we all had to adjust to. The border for Niue was highly restricted, flights to Niue were reduced and highly restricted and families were cut off from one another. The opportunity to get goods from New Zealand to Niue became more difficult, and we have done our best to help everyone.
One of the issues that we were trying to help with was the airport fekau - when a small package is brought to the airport for family or friends to carry to Niue on a flight. Usually with a small payment as a thank you. Restricted travel for family and friends meant restricted check-in and carry-on space.
We had an issue with the cost for these small items. So in an effort to help our customers as best as possible, we introduced the Knick Knack Box service. Basically, we created a “box” for all the little knick knacks (packages) to go into. Breaking up the cost for the “box” being shipped, the cost for a small package became more affordable.
This meant that we could send an airport fekau for our customers at a cost similar to the small “thank you” payment. The main reason for creating the Knick Knack Box service.
As we move forward and efforts to get Covid-19 under control improve the situation, we will continue this service indefinitely. As it will help our customers avoid traveling to the airport on plane day, and with our Courier Service we can even help with getting goods to our Knick Knack box when time and circumstance are inconvenient.
If you have any further queries with regards to this service, we are happy to help. Feel free to contact us. Monuina e aho.

Courier Services for Niue
We have now attained discounted services with local and international courier companies for good to Niue. Having accounts with DHL and other international companies.
We can now offer quotes for courier jobs within New Zealand for goods to freight to Niue - enabling us to process the courier of goods from outside of Auckland to our warehouse. A service we have been practicing with some customers so that they can stay at home without the need to visit a courier company or the post office.
We can also offer quotes for goods from Australia, Fiji and other Pacific Islands. Quotes will always be offered first before processing and courier jobs.
The only information that we will need is:
The number of packages
The weight and size (width, length and height in centimeters) of each package
The contents of the packages
The total value of the contents of the packages
Once we have received the goods at our warehouse, we can process them for air freight or sea freight as requested by the shipper or consignee (person(s) receiving the shipment in Niue).
