Air Freight Update (NZ1174/21DEC 2021) - General Booking

We have general air freight space booked on flight NZ1174/21DEC 2021 - a non-passenger flight. This flight departs Auckland on Tuesday, arriving in Niue on Monday.

This is the last flight to Niue before Christmas Day. Space is restricted by Air New Zealand, and is mostly filled by our backlog. We have managed to get a bit more space, but it is still very limited. Any freight that doesn’t make the limit will be shipped on flight NZ936/28DEC 2021 - the last flight for the year 2021.

It is worth noting that at this time of the year, off-loads are possible depending on how Air New Zealand loads the flights to Niue.

With the Covid-19 Traffic Light system in place, Auckland is currently at Red Status, we have put protocols in place. Our following services have the following cut-off times on Monday the 20th of December 2021:

• Our Collection Service - last collection time to book is Monday morning at 10am

• Our Courier Service - last acceptance of courier jobs is Monday morning at 10am

• Our Expect My Order Service - last acceptance is Monday morning at 10am

• Drop off to our warehouse - last acceptance is 10am on Monday morning

The weather outlook for the day of travel is as follows:

• Auckland Airport - Rain, clearing but remaining cloudy. Northwesterlies.

• Niue Airport - Breezy and pleasant with intervals of clouds and sunshine.

There are delays with couriers in New Zealand due to the Covid-19 restrictions. So the earlier a courier booking is made, the better the chances are of making the flight.
